Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the traditional romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. At the age 16, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to provide her with more intense singing instruction. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. Her early professional career saw her perform with many chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is involved with many local initiatives and is a teacher and performer because of her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
